Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) – Hydropower Plants

• You will be responsible for the planning of hydropower plants, including the definition and sizing of main and auxiliary mechanical and hydromechanical plant equipment
• You prepare cost estimates for engineering services, support the preparation of offers and contribute to contract negotiations
• Within the Plant Equipment Engineering team, you draft feasibility studies and technical tender documents
• When evaluating suppliers' bids, you assess their technical compliance and economic viability
• You will review technical execution documents regarding contractual compliance and support manufacturing supervision at the supplier's facilities
• Together with your team, you will coordinate and supervise assembly and commissioning activities for hydropower plants in Germany and abroad and support factory acceptance test (FATs)

• You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
• With 5 to 10 years of professional experience, you have a strong background in the planning and implementation of hydropower plants or comparable power plant projects
• Preferably, you have gained experience working on international and German-speaking projects
• You have sound knowledge of mechanical power plant equipment and the associated systems
• Ideally, you have experience preparing project studies and tender documents for the construction and rehabilitation of hydropower plants
• For project-related assignments, you are willing to travel domestically and internationally
• You speak fluently English, both written and spoken; German and other foreign languages are an advantage
